In 2005, The Highland Hamper Company was born.

Passionate about the Southern Highlands we recognised an opportunity to create a gift business showcasing the finest gourmet Southern Highland products - such as delicious jams, marmalades, mustards, mayonnaises, olives and olive oils, dessert sauces, muesli and the yummiest chocolates imaginable! Also, the best wines the area has to offer.

Initially working from home, we packed and dispatched hampers from whatever space our toddler Rohan allowed. Then in November, we were able to secure retail space in Oxley Mall, Bowral for Christmas. Local response confirmed Southern Highlanders’ enthusiasm for quality local products and a gift giving experience that was both easy and rewarding. Our beautifully packaged hampers were packed and wrapped each night, and sold out each day, right up until Christmas Eve!

Baby Sofia was born in January 2006 and the business moved back to the home front until we began the local market circuit.

2006 also sees us expand our range into Personal Care, using fantastic products from Blubloom of Canyonleigh, and Essential Botanicals of Robertson. We now cover all the special events in the gift giving calendar - Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Birthdays, Wedding Gifts and Baby’s Arrival.

With backgrounds in hospitality management… quality products, customer service and presentation are key elements in every hamper creating a gift that delights both the giver and the recipient!
